PEP is available in the hospitals recognized as HIV Reference Centres (HRC) and a contribution in the cost of PEP is provided by the RIZIV-INAMI. On the 26th of December 2015, a royal decreewas publishedon the conditions regarding the contribution of the RIZIV-INAMI in the cost of thePEP in case of exposure to HIV (BS 29 December 2015 (C–2015/22559).Consultable viahttp://reflex.raadvst-consetat.be/reflex/pdf/Mbbs/2015/12/29/132286.pdf).

A convention for the PEP between theHRC and RIZIV-INAMI has been signed. The conventionand the royal decree foresee the obligation of theHRC to participate in the data collection organizedin collaboration with the WIV-ISP(previous name of Sciensano)(16 December 2015).
