User matrix

A User Matrix is a method to present information about user types and their functionalities in an organized way.

The EAM 3.0 User Matrix featured below gives an overview of the actions within the scope of an Authenticated User and an Access Manager. Clicking on "yes" for either of these user types redirects you to the description of that specific action. Actions in bold are available for Authenticated User and/or Access manager. The remaining actions are reserved for technical profiles within healthdata.be.

The user matrix contains following columns:

  • Application: the application that is impacted by the action.
  • Actions: what a user can do in the entity access management (EAM) system; the functionality
  • Interface: the method used to carry out the action; GUI: Graphical User Interface; CSV: comma-separated value
  • Authenticated User: is logged into the EAM system through itsme or eID and has a profile based on shared first name, last name and NISS code
  • Access Manager: manages/validates the access to applications / projects for the Organization(s) and Users they represent, manages/validates accounts

  • AM: Access Manager
  • LSL: Local Study Lead
  • LSA: Local Study Associate
  • LSS (AG): Local Study Support for Author Group
