Brief project description

The application "Qermid © Cardiac Defibrillators" is an online service that allows to register individual medical patient data and material data about cardiological implants and procedures. In this way, the various cardiology centers have the necessary data available quickly and easily, which increases the quality of medical care for the patients. The registration of these data also has a second purpose, namely the electronic processing of the application and decision-making procedure for the reimbursement of the implants by the NIHDI to the hospitals.

Regulatory framework of this project

The Royal Decree concerning the compulsory insurance for medical care and compensation,coordinated on 14th July 1994, especially on the articles 22, 6° and 23, §3 with regard to defibrillators.
