General description of the application HD4DP v2
HD4DP v2 is a local application developed by healthdata.be (Sciensano) and installed on the infrastructure of the data provider. The application allows the data provider to extract data from the primary system and map it to one or more data collection projects.
The local HD4DP v2 application is also accessible via a web browser. Questions that cannot be answered with data from the primary systems can be processed manually in electronic ("pre-filled") forms.
If the records are complete, the data can be transferred to the central data platform healthdata.be. For this transfer, HD4DP v2 connects to the ehealth messaging software of the data provider.
